Editorial photography
In a twenty year career I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside some inspirational picture editors and art directors, and through that time I’ve always prided myself on consistently producing top quality photography, meeting a brief and delivering on deadline.
I’ve always thought that editorial photography takes an unusual combination of skills: the precision of a reporter coupled with the imagination of a true creative. Someone who has their own vision, but who understands the flexibility needed to create effective page layouts.
I’m one of the few photographers who has worked on both sides of the picture desk. My commercial work bridges two different disciplines: I bring the efficiency of editorial image making together with the imagination and quality of commercial corporate photography.
